In one sudden, tragic event on October 12, 1997, we lost a musical icon and someone who inspire and encouraged me in many ways. I was fortunate to have known John Denver in the late 70’s and saw him occasionally until a few months before his death. My friends and family encouraged me to record a tribute to John, and in doing so, wrote my farewell to him, “It Wasn’t My Time” . I hope you will enjoy this tribute to John and my efforts to keep his music alive.
